Travel Information Travel Options.

OPTION 1: If your first airport of arrival in the USA is in Florida; the Carolinas; California or Chicago - you may want to contine by air to the Baltimore-Washington Airport.  If your first airport of arrival in the USA is Dulles International in Virginia or LaGuardia or John F Kennedy airport in the New York City area - you will want to take the train to Aberdeen, Maryland.

OPTION 2: The Greyhound Bus Lines is an alternate way to come from New York to BALTIMORE, MARYLAND. The GREYHOUND bus does not serve our area of Maryland. The two nearest Greyhound terminals are in the center of Baltimore City (an $85 Taxi fare to Best Western Inn in North East, Maryland). and on the perimeter of Baltimore at the Baltimore Travel Plaza ($75 Taxi fare to Best Western Inn in North East, Maryland). Do not confuse the Baltimore Travel Plaza with the Chesapeake House Travel Plaza. They are not the same. They are 50+ miles apart. If you take the Greyhound Bus to Baltimore, you will have to go to the train station and take the train toPerryville or Aberdeen which are the 2 villages near the Chesapeake House Travel Plaza. You will save much money if you take the train from Baltimore Penn Station to Perryville ($5 USD) and then Taxi to the the Best Western Inn in North East, Maryland   NOTE*** If your airport of arrival is BWI (Baltimore-Washington) airport, you can take the airport shuttle bus to the airport train station and get a train directly to Perryville, Maryland. Then we can arrange to pick you up at the Perryville train station.

There are 2 different train systems that travel the same rails. They are MARC and AMTRAK. MARC is a regional train that runs in Maryland Monday-Friday and uses both the Aberdeen and Perryville trains stations. Not on weekends. The AMTRAK is a national system. It runs 7 days a week.and uses the Aberdeen train station. We will pick you up if you give us a call before you get to the train station. It takes us about 20-30 minutes to get to either train station. Call 443-553-2594 and if no answer call 410-378-9703. Speak with Mr. Al
